Our Youth
Student Ministry
Every Wednesday night at 7 pm, our young people meet for a time of food, fun, fellowship and a relevant message from God’s word for today’s culture. Our Student Ministry at West Main is available for children through young adults.Mike Wright, Youth Pastor, leads our Middle School, High School and College Students in prayer and bible study that assists our young people in dealing with the issues of the world today. Mike and Scott Perkins are always available to talk with or counsel our youth via social media, text and other media.
Our youth also participate in mission work from time to time. They have built a handicap ramp for a church member, cleared debris for an elderly couple after a fire and cleared brush, cut grass, and spruced up an elderly woman’s yard, just to name a few.

Our Youth
After having serious health issues, this member of the church was struggling to climb the steep ramp previously built onto his trailer in Meadowview, VA. Our youth were approached and asked if we would be interested in constructing a new wheelchair ramp - one much longer and not as steep. The guys were extremely willing and up to the challenge. So, we set off to complete the task. It only took two days from start to finish.
